Short Description:
Several years have passed since the end of Season 2. After Cho Sang-woo’s death and the destruction of the game system, the world learned about the secret VIP club and the brutal games held for the amusement of the elite. However, despite the global scandal and legal proceedings, the shadow of the games has not disappeared.
In Squid Game 3 , we return to the dark world where survival is the price of freedom. The series will explore the consequences of revealing the truth and how society tries to cope with the shock and begin a new life. But at the same time, a new wave of secret organizations emerges, using the same methods but in new formats.
The main character, Gi-hun, returns to confront the new evil that disguises itself as charity and technology. He will team up with new allies, including a younger generation of participants who have survived analogs of Squid Game in other countries.

Netflix officially confirmed the launch of Season 3 of Squid Game . Filming has already started in closed mode in Thailand and Bulgaria. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk said the finale would be “even more dramatic and symbolic” than previous seasons.
